If you are a Music Word Media author and would like to reprint material from your book in another publication, please write us for permission, giving details of the planned re-use: how many words/audio/visuals, in what media, with what publisher, etc.
We refer all academic course use requests to the Copyright Clearance Center (CCC) for processing. We have authorized CCC to grant permission for reproducing our materials and to collect royalty fees on our behalf.
Contact CCC online or send your letter of request to:

Your brief letter should specify the number of pages you wish to photocopy or post online and how many copies you intend to make. Include the author, title, and publication date of the work, as well as professor and course information.
We are happy to send exam and desk copies to interested professors. Because we do not deal with college bookstore chains, we can offer free shipping, special offers, and discounts to students when a title is adopted for academic use.
Music Word Media acquires worldwide rights in all languages and all media for works of which we are the original publisher. We are happy to license these rights in broad and practical packages rather than in the usual narrowly-restricted slices. We do not use forms to process permission requests. Publishers wishing to make new editions should write to us with details of their plans.
Derivative works We are delighted to consider proposals to license our publications for translation and for development in any media, including TV and film presentations. Please contact us to make a request.
